The challenge
Explaining what an organisation does, without tiring anyone
Problem
Institutional is the genre where it's easiest to bore. A narrated list of competencies holds no one to the end.
Decision
We told it in short blocks, each idea with its own shape and movement, and used typography as image rather than caption.
The editing decisions
Why animated typography instead of real footage
Institutional footage dates quickly and demands production. Motion graphics stays current, updates in parts, and lets the script control the pace.
How you keep it easy to read
One idea per shot, transitions that drag the eye to where the next piece of information enters, and nothing moving while there's text to read.
